I have just formatted an AMD 350MHz pc. It was running win98 perfectly
however there was too much junk on it. So i gave it the big F. After loading
win98se on I have found that the pc doesn't shut down properly. Although it
is an AT power supply, I don't get the screen "It is now safe to turn off
your computer"

All I get is the splash screen Windows is now shutting down.

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem ???

Thanks in advance
Melvin
