Wow, looks like this thread got the attention of TPTB and they don't seem to be taking kindly to things at all. I heard from Noel via the OMD Users Group email that Ben Isennegger has ordered him out of the Dingoblue newsgroups too. Bit severe if you ask me, although I have to agree that the language gets a bit strong at times, but hell, its not like people dont hear that every day in RL as well, and lets face it, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and to voice it freely. IMO, Noel, Rod, Editor/Webmaster, and a few others are just guys who happen to be very opinionated, and if anyone doesnt want to read what they have to say they should learn to use a killfile. When tempers arent flaring they can all be very helpful as well, and Optus/Dingoblue (and the person who obviously contacted them about Noel) should not be trying to censor peoples opinions. I also fail to see why the OMD groups should be limited to each subset of customers, considering we all use the same network. Interesting to note that a followup post from Optus's Engineering Team Leader seemed to indicate Optus/Microplex have an affiliation, but Dingoblue is on its own. Trouble in the ranks?
