Hello,

I have the following problem:
On my new computer i have an ISDN-card of Asuscom (ISDNLink) installed, and
a HP Scanjet 5200C
(USB-connection)
The scanner 'or' the isdn-card don't work: when i install the isdn-card,
everything works fine, but when i also install the scanner, the system
hangs. When i remove my isdn-card (or scanner), everyting is back alright.
That means both devices can't work together on te same system.
I just formatted my hard-drive again, so the Windows98 I installed today, is
not yet fucked up.
;-)

The problem is that my ISDN-card and USB Root hub are always on the same
IRQ.
(first IRQ9, when i disable it, they take both IRQ11, etc...)

When i contacted the HP Helpdesk, they told me to make sure the IRQ of the
USB-port should be on a different IRQ than de ISDN-card.

I always thougt it would be no problem an usb port and another
pluy-and-play-device on the same IRQ.
But they told me is could give problems with the HP Scanjet 5200C.

I know i can connect this scanner on the parallel port, but i just want the
usb-connection.


Does anyone knows a solution: how to force some devices to go to another
IRQ, or does somebody has a better idea?

I hope somebody can help me, because i'm out of idea's.
