I had just completed a fresh install of Win98SE and loaded the SB drivers for the PCI 128 now upon boot into Windows (at the logon box) I receive an error message that SB can't load the MIDI and it's diabled. The only thing I did differently on this install was to load the most recent drivers from the Creative SB site first instead of loading the old drivers first as I had done in the past. I decided to go ahead and load the old drivers anyway to see if that would get rid of the message - nope. Any ideas? I can't seem to find the MIDI to see if there is a conflict - in NT it's easy to find - but I am drawing a blank on how to fix this problem in Win98SE. Thanks in advance for any advice!!
