i keep getting page faults(illegal operations) coming up  when i start
programs certian programs

example: this program has performed an illeagl operation and will be shut
down.

and  in the details section it says:(what ever program i am using) caused an
exception c06d007eH in module MFC.42.DLL at 0177:5f452bd9.

i am using a p II 400,10.1 gb harddrive, 64mb ram......

please help us to sort this porblem out as its driving me mad
