hi,

have istalled Win98 last year and was quite happy with same ever after -
until recently, when our company has switched to another server from which
the common database is accessed. Unfortunately this new configuration only
supports Winsock1 - and as using respective groupware application is a must
for me, - I had to desinstall Win98 and return to Win95 (our understanding
here is that Win98 installs Winsock2 by default - while it's Winsock1 which
comes with Win95.)
I sort of hate Win95, but have to work with it - and so the question is :
does anyone can suggest the way how to install Win98, while preserving
Winsock1 ????

Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
