Hi, My client has a 3 user Win98 10/100 ethernet LAN running tcp/ip. Problem: The canon LBP800 laser (Australian model) won't print accross the LAN. Local printing is fine until a user will do a network print. The jobs then hang in the que and even local printing fails at that point. Yesterday I reinstalled all drivers including the server and clients, and got the thing to work. Today its not working again - seems intermmitant. Otherwise the LAN is fine. We can see the jobs appear on the printserver (PIII667), but they never print. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance, Nir Gilmore

Can they copy data....share files etc...? Check from both machines..... If this fails on both machines the cause is most likely the NIC in the server or the cabling....as the print jobs are not being spooled correctly. Regards, Dave. Sounds like someone is fiddling around where they shouldn't be and either drivers are being deleted or changed or settings are. -- Remove the anti-spammer stuff.
