Hi all:
I had made a shareware(adcutoff). It requires 8$ to register it, but
It will be free If you give me any suggestion. I think It is the
most powerful anti-advt in the world.

When browsing web pages, we have to view bunches of annoying
advertisements including popup, Flash, Floating Windows. This
software is to stop Popup window & Flash & Gif Animations.

Now there are mostly 3 kinds of in-page advertisements.
   - Gif animations: It is easiest to make it.It cant combine with
sound and the animation effect is controlled by cpu.
   - Flash movie: It is provided by marcomedia. It can combine with sound
   and produce complex effect.
   - PMI movie: It is a product like marcomedia for advt.It can popup windows
that most of Anti-advt will lose the effect to it. Now Adcutoff can deal
   with it.(Its introduction in http://www.richmedia.com.tw/rm-main.htm)

If you are dislike in-page advertisements just as popup windows, Adcutoff
   is just for you.

I take it that you have it installed on your own computer?

In which case it isn't working. It allowed you to advertise here. It
didn't cut that ad at all, so must be the least effective software on
the net.

Hi smith:
Thank for your criticizing. Indeed, I test it in
Win95/Win98/WinNT/Win2000.
It works to IE. It also tested by ZDnet and passed, and puted into
download.com.
I just want to send the software free.
-----------------------------------------------
Indeed It works to many many people as I known.
If you are sure that your path name is in english , fulfill other
requirement
written in readme, and your IE is real IE. (Cause we can browser
throgth Explore.exe. When you type Explorer www.xxx.com,It will load a
process that is very like IE. But it is not. For the perform reason,
adcutoff dont support explorer.exe).
-----------------------------------------------
If it doesnt work in your system still, I apologize for it. I cant
dubug it
for I never seen it(Just delete the folder,It is harmless to your
computer)
-----------------------------------------------
  Thanks!!!

Better off getting AdShield anyway (www.adshield.org). It's TOTALLY
free, integrates seamlessly into IE, blocks everything, and is very
powerful.

For legal reasons, it ships without an included block-list, but you
can download a ready-made one here:

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/winhelp2002/block.zip

No spamming here, just the best advertising blocker I've ever used
(even gets those annoying flash ads!).

I second the vote for Adshield. I tried 5 or 6 of those
popupstoppers, some were almost as annoying as the popups they were
designed to stop. Then I tried Adshield. At first I thought I
wouldn't like it either because of having to maintain the ad list.
But I am starting to grow rather fond of this little gem. I really
enjoy watching the ads, not just popups, vaporize before my eyes as I
add them to the list.

Please reply in this forum, above email address is invalid. Take
care.

I have been using Atguard for years(No longer commercially available).
It is a firewall, but it also filters advertisements. I never had to
add to the list, but it still blocks everything.
