Does anyone know of a good programme for cataloging zip disks? It
surprises me somewhat that iomega don't provide one in their software.

I don't need anything too fancy. A freebie would be just fine. :)

Yes, I know there are lots of them there. I was seeking a recommendation.
(saves time checking them all out)

ITYMTS "Iomega did have this on ..."

It is still available as a download (although annoyingly the most recent
version will only install if a previous version is installed first).

I have had bad experiences trying to get the recent drivers to work with the
old toolbox software - I don't recommend it.

Yes - what you say could become a problem.

Haven't loaded any extra Iomega Zip software for a while now.

But shouldn't this "old toolbox" software have come with Peter's Zip drive
anyway?

Yes, I've got it, but it's pretty crappy, and it crashes for some reason. Probably
driver conflict as Paul said.

Please note ppl.. any follows ups to this thread.. I have been asked to remove the
alt.html ng, so please comply. I've left it in for this reply, so the ppl there can
see that I have responded to the request.

Also another useful programme that Iomega dropped, was the disk monitor that
checked for password protected disks, and popped up a window so you could type the
password. Saved having to do the right clik menu thing. This proggy still works ok.

The old FindIt program that used to be with the Zip Tools is a stand
alone thing, so it should not conflict with anything.
That's what I use on the Mac.
