Something like Partition Magic

I've got a system with Windows 2K, Win98 and Linux. Basically, I've just
broke the Win98 partition, but I was only using it until I knew 2000 was
good enough. I could really do with the extra space it's taking up, but
Partition Manager doesn't work on Win2000.

Is there a comparable tool? Is there a handy Linux tool I can do a swap (a
la PM and keep everything on there) of my partition sizes?

Thanks,

C.

I have been told there is a linux tool capable to resize partitions, but
I've never tried it. And beware, it's just out of it's beta phase...
However, here it is the address:
ftp://ftp.unina.it/pub/gnu/parted

Out of beta stage...FIPS

Been around for a while actually, but beware that it CAN mess things up
pretty bad. I would read all the DOCS on it before use.

I've used it before, with no major hassles - one word of advice tho, make
sure you defragment any Windows partitions before you run it.

Partition Magic 5.01 is the earliest version intended to work with W2K.
You will want a FAT32 partition anyway, in order for linux to be able to
write files which may be read in 2K, so you could simply wipe off the
folders you don't want from the W98 partition. If you use a
non-W2K-compatible partition manager to resize, you will likely need to
re-install W2K afterwards. Not the end of the world.
