Actually, no. I'd be interested in hearing the details. If he said something in his subject line (I'm assuming the body of the message was encrypted) like "I'm going to off Clinton"....then he's screwed as US law specifically allows the authorities to nab you simply for threatening the president. If it was a generic eyecatcher (ie Clintons Assassination) in an encrypted message, it might be a pretty thin call as to whether it was genuine investigation or harrassment. > >Tell if if this post itself gets you responses from the FBI. I tnink you could be subtle about it. I would bounce it through julf's anon.penet.fi server from a US address to my Canadian address. If the message never arrived, then it would show a disturbing tendency on the part of the NSA to interrupt mail traffic. If I get a message at either my Canadian or US addresses from the spooks the situation is worse....interference with the anon routings not only in the US but to Canada leads to me to think I'd pretty well have to start encrypting ALL my messages. -- ************************************************************************* Mark Terka | werewolf@io.org | public key (werewolf) at Toronto,Canada | dg507@cleveland.freenet.edu | pgp-public-keys@demon.co.uk *************************************************************************
