Justin, How can you possibly know that this is true? I am a Canadian. I think the ban is a pathetic piece of nonsense. I also think that Canadians are pretty craven when it comes to standing up for what many Americans deem to be important freedoms. Many of my (Canadian) friends agree with me. So, it's not only "foreigners" who think the ban is intrinsically bad. I wouldn't venture to guess what the "vast majority of us Canadians" think.
