>Bookstores throughout Ontario, Canada, are pulling WiReD 2.04 (April '94) >from their shelves because it violates the Homolka/Teale publication ban. Governments can be so clueless sometimes! The issue in question doesn't contain any information at all about the trial. The article in question is about the attempt to keep information about the trial out of the hands of the public, and of people's use of the Internet to get around the ban. Anyway, banning the magazine won't stop people from using the Internet resources to get information (including Gophering to wired.com to read it). Sorry, government types: the genie is out of the bottle. Pandora's box has been opened. Attempts to resist the inevitable are doomed.
