"Stuffy" !!! How dare you characterize me that way. ... and in public too!
I may feel compelled to consult a lawyer to explore what legal steps I can
take to silence your foul mouth. I wonder if a judge will agree to
order you off Usenet completely.

According to the dictionary definition of "stuffy", it would seem you are
intentionally defaming my good name. I respectfully request that you
kindly apologize for your poor choice of words. ;-)

Stuffy: adj
1. poorly ventilated; having little fresh air; close.

I assure you that I am well ventilated, although I try not to
ventilate in elevators as a courtesy to others. I also brush and
floss regularly to keep my air fresh.

2. having the nasal passages stopped up, as from a cold.

I assure you my nasal passages are just fine, and I am in good health.

3. dull, stodgy, not interesting or stimulating.

I am sharp and many people find me interesting indeed.
	I can call witnesses.

4. conservative, old fashioned

I voted liberal and even my students would say I'm a pretty hip
	kinda guy.

5. prim, strait-laced

I don't wear lace, strait or otherwise.

6. sulky, obstinate.

Are pouting and sulking the same thing?
OK, OK, maybe I can be obstinate sometimes.

With all due respect, my dear Joe, I wish you the best of luck in your suit.

For any humour-challenged readers, ... ;-) ;-) ;-)

One final thought:
If it is slanderous to call a cop a pig, does that mean
it would be slanderous to call a professor an egghead?

cheers,
  dj
