Help!

I need to send a large number of files to someone using an Amiga. In
order to preserve the file names, my hope is to put the files into a tar
file(s) for him and copy the tar file to a CD.

My question is: does the Amiga OS include a tar program? If not, does
anyone know where I could download one from for him which I could
include on the CD?

As a side question, are there any file archive/compression formats that
the Amiga understands (native)?

Thanks,

Daryl Hanson
