Hi there! I am really desperate by now.... Since I replaced my 3.0 ROMS in my Amiga 1200 the Amiga won't even startup anymore, as long as the harddrive is connected to it's power cable. If I take of the power from the harddisk, the 3.1 ROMS Amiga intro screen appears, and if I put in a bootfloppy then the A1200 boots normally! Also, if I let spin up the harddisk first, this does not help. Also waiting for 2 minutes does not matter. Only if I put back my 3.0 ROMS everything works normal again. I've tried this with 3 different brands of harddisks, and none works with the 3.1 ROMS inserted. though, all 3 disks work ok with the 3.0 ROMS inserted. Also, cutting line 1 of the IDE cable (reset) does not matter. Anybody any ideas left? My config: A1200, apollo 68040/40 turbocard, 16 MB ram and an EIDE99 ide adapter.
