Doesn't look like you've missed anything!
I think this is a new newsgroup.

Talking on Amiga Systems, have you tried out the 1.44Mb Floppy Demo from
QNX' website yet?

QNX are writing the kernel for the new Amiga OS. They've got a demo of their
OS available from their website. It runs on IBM PCs only though. It does
give a taster of what's in store for the Amiga.

Adios, Paul

erm ... www.qnx.com - you'll find something along the lines of "Take the
1.44Mb Challenge" (it's been a couple of weeks since I last went there).
You'll need an "IBM compatible" (I'm refusing to say "PC" now as a New
Year's resolution, Doh! I just said it) and a proper modem, not one of those
WinModem things.

It really is inspiring and I think a lot of people will change their
doubting minds when they've seen this in action. Windows 9x needs about
200Mb of hard disk to fire up its GUI. The Amiga needs 880k. QNX merely take
this concept further by adding an Internet browser to the boot floppy.
Integral file/web browser would be nice (like Active [spit spit] Desktop or
KDE), but nevertheless ... it's impressive.

Hope you like it, Paul
