A2000HD woes

Hello all, I have a strange and confusing problem with my A2000HD, the
situatioon is this:
I got it awhile back from a friend, it worked fine, I played with it a
bit, then laeft if off for some weeks. I came back to use it and the
power light came on, but that was all, no boot test, no drive click,
no HD spin up(I have a 2091 inside). Took it apart, cleaned it put it
back together, nothing changed so gave up for the time being. Today, I
pulle the case off, unplugged all cables, etc and removed the 2091
card. With just the mono out running to a composite monitor and the
internal floppy I turned it on and, What do you know, I got the insert
disk screen. Ok, that was strange enough, but here's where things
really start getting wierd. I put the 2091 back in, turned it back on
and it worked again. I put the case back on, hooked up the external
floppy and the 1084 cable, mouse and keyboard, turned it on and it
worked and was running fine. So I turned on my PC that is sitting next
to it and the AMIGA went blank, and started a cold-reboot, I thought
"WOW, that was weird" and wen to turn on the PC monitor, I hit the
power button, the AMiga once again went blank, then nothing, I shut
the power off and totally tore the a2000 down again. I pulled all the
chips, checked for bad componets(ye old smell test), etc I pulled the
Power supply appart, cleaned it, checked the fuse and found nothing
wrong. I have the power supply sitting out as we speak but plugged
in(I have full access to the entire mother board this way). It's got
the power LED on, and has been "running" for about 45 minutes now and
not one chip is hot, most are room temp. Anyone have any ideas? The
only thing I can think of is a flakey powersupply, but I have never
seen one act like this. Any help would be much appriciated.
