For those who haven't already heard or seen the story in today's Sydney
Morning Herald, Aison Vicary, an Associate Lecturer in Economics at Macquarie
University, was one of 17 people arrested at Rangoon airport for "distributing
anti-Government pamphlets" and is currently being held in a Rangoon prison
without charge.

Alison's friends and colleagues at Macquarie University are petitioning the
Myanmar and Australian governments to secure her immediate release. Please add
