I suppose i might add that DSTC mirrors the linux kernel patches from finland
under: ftp://ftp.dstc.edu.au/pub/linux-kernel

Our sunsite/kernel mirror is setup so that it lives in the same area as sunsite's
kernel area is, e.g /pub/linux/kernel/v1.3, to save disk space.

This mirror checks more than once a day, so it usually has the latest kernel
patches within a few hours of release. Especially useful for avoiding those
2M downloads of a complete kernel tar from europe.

as for comments about redhat.. an example of how difficult it is to mirror
from the redhat home site.. i've had a redhat mirror running for > 2 days
now, and i think it's transferred about 10 files so far. :-/
