I can honestly say that AOL 5.0 is very buggy.. And until the release date for AOL 6.0 this august it can only get worse. Users of Windows 2000 are learning that it removes some java apps that control they way some web pages work. Weither or not you decide to stay with the service is entirely up to you. I for one moved onto another service. One that works without any software to install. But this is not an ad of any kind, I'll leave that up to you if you wish to persue that stuff. I'm just trying to make it clear, aol may not be the best thing on the internet.. It's sole purpose is to make newbies comfortable and to learn how to use it. It's a growing tool. I've been a subscriber to the provider since aol opened. Long before windows was dreamed up good o'l fashioned dos was the only way in. America Online has come from a very long road. The team should continue trying to bring the best. It will take time before the software works without all the bugs. Only patience will be the verdict involved. I wish you well in your quest for the pefect service. Or should you decide to go with the flow and stuck with it.. More power to you. ps.. "To: The spammers of newsgroups, for free services" Perhaps many of you have forgotten, when you signed up for your service.. You were instructed not to attack the world wide web, and or usenet/newsgroups. Should you continue to persue cheating the system, you will be caught. If your not sure what I'm refering to go read your (TOS) Terms of Service. All electronic services have one so read up on it. * Sent from RemarQ http://www.remarq.com The Internet's Discussion Network * The fastest and easiest way to search and participate in Usenet - Free!
