if he did not have the aol adapter he would not have the tcp/ip aol 
adapter either, plus if these two things are not install i do believe aol 
will not be able to launch.  i think he should check his wsock file and 
make sure he has the correct ver install in his system dir. just thought 
not sure if that would be the problem though.
