Hi, my name is Simon. Here's the situation.

I have AOL as my ISP.  AOL mail is not comptatible with Outlook.  That's
fine with me.  However, I have another email account that uses POP/SMTP.
While I'm connected to AOL, I can receive emails from this POP account but
cannot send emails using Outlook.  I talked with AOL technical support and
they said that AOL does not support SMTP service while I'm connected to AOL
service.  Is this true?  If so, is there any fix or solution?

I think they're blocking outbound port 25 traffic so there may be no
solution unless you can connect to the SMTP server via another port

I don't have an answer but I have used AOL as my ISP, when traveling, with
Outlook 98, 2000, and now 2002 with no problem sending or receiving...
