My AOL account was interrupted on July 23, 1998.
When I tried to log-on the screen would read, "INVALID ACCOUNT".
I contacted AOL about this problem and they said they would have someone
return my
phone call within 24 hours.....(HA!)
I have attempted to locate the problem and have it resolved (daily; I
have contacted
AOL), this is senseless, since no one at AOL knows what the hell
happened to the
account.
I have been unsuccessful in any attempt to speak with someone with the
authority who
can correct the problem. Mere referrals to the next person (pass the
buck), with the
continuing promise that someone will contact me within 24 hours.
I have contacted representatives (people who just answer the phone and
take a message)
with AOL at:
Billing Services: (800) 827-6364
Technical Support: (800) 827-3338
1-888-265-8003 Billing
1-888-265-8004 Screen Name/ Password
1-888-265-8006 Windows Tech Support Queue
1-888-265-8310 DOS Tech Support Queue
and at 703-265-1000 Members Services.........
Nobody has been of any help! Absolutely nobody, The account is five (5)
years old and
AOL just lost it and thats the problem, nobody can help you unless they
have your master
account log in name and it's not there....."Security Override"!
Anybody know any other phone numbers or an address to their facility so
that I can make
the Better Business Bureau and other Consumer Agencies aware of the
shitty service an
AOL customer receives.
I was hung-up in yesterday by one of their reps, they speak to you like
you were in a
members chat room.
