aol techs -
can anyone point me to the right place to get a AOL Instant Messenger
password fixed ?
I have a Mac running 8.6, using AIM v2.0N. After the upgrade to OS8.6,
I apparently
either lost my preferences for AIM, and/or installed a new copy - in any
case, I'm
at a loss to come up with the password. AIM says that you can request a password
change from AOL, but their webpage says otherwise. If AOL won't/can't
help, does
anyone know how to "break" in so I can fix it ? I could always just
sign up again
with a new screen name, but that's a real hassle as others already have
my old,
existing screen name in their buddy list...
Thanks for any help an/or direction....
John
