I am not sure if anyone here would have the answer to this, but here goes anyhow. I use w/98,IM, & Earthlink is my IP. I can open/read e-mail attachments, no problem. Other users with similar equipment are able to open/read e-mail attachments that I generate. However, I have a friend who uses AOL on a win/3.x box,(rural,no known local dial-up numbers for other ISP's). She can read my e-mail but can not open/read any of the attachments that I send her. I primarily send self decrypting archives created using that function in PGP 6.5.1. She recieves these attachments, but she "can not click on to the icon". I don't know why. Now for my question. Can someone out there tell an AOL user how to open/read e-mail attachments? She may have her e-mail app set up so that it wont open attachments. I dont know. Any help will be appreciated.
