After deleting unused and unnecessary instances of aol from a friends
computer, then rebooting, I get a message after desktop reappears: cant
find aoltray.exe. I ran regedit - local machine/software/ms/windows/current
version/run and deleted the entry there, but still upon reboot: cant find
aoltray.exe. Any clues how to get rid of this nightmare????
Thanks, Mary

Have you deleted the icon in the Start-Up folder (c:/program files/start-up
or c:/start-up)??

If this doesn't help, there is a few other things you can check EMAIL -
