Have you ever wanted to know what the Japanese
people were discussing on their newsgroups?

Want to hear their reaction to the latest game
(that is only available in Japan)?

Maktos Translations checks the Japanese
USENET groups daily for interesting posts,
translates them, and posts them online for
all to read and enjoy.

Right now Maktos has over 270 different posts
translated, (covering QUITE a few topics and
systems!) with 3 or 4 new posts added every day.

Besides USENET posts, Maktos also translates
Japanese websites (video game related),
video game manuals, song lyrics, etc.

Currrent "projects" include:

The Dreamcast Passport software, which is
progressing very nicely! 14 pages have been
completed so far. (41% done)

A website by the name of "FF2 Mysidia"
that covers the Japanese FF2.
Maktos has a mirror of the site,
and the site is updated every time
the smallest part of it is translated.
There is a nice chunk of it done
already!

In existence for a little over 2 months, Maktos
Translations has quickly developed into a very
popular and important resource for video game
fans.

One unique trait about Maktos -- everything you
find there is done IN-HOUSE, not grabbed from
some other site.

We want to be known for UNIQUE CONTENT
and FREQUENT (daily) UPDATES.
(so far, updated every day since 12/9/98)

If you haven't been to Maktos Translations yet,
(or haven't been there in a while) please take a
look when you get a chance! ^_^
