                        *Mawasi settler road*

  Israeli bulldozers have began to pave a road to link the settlements
  of Neve Dekalim and Ganei Tal in the coastal area of Mawasi near
  Kahn Younis this week. The head of Land Defence Committee Abdel Aziz
  Qudeih said on Monday: "This development is meant to judaize the
  Mawasi area by the gradual takeover of palestinian farmland." He
  called upon the PNA to move quickly to curb further violations.

                  *Land violation in the Jordan Valley*

  PLC representatives Salim Najjib this week said that there was "a
  process of ethnic cleansing" going on in the West bank. He was spea-
  king to the land Defence Committees of the West bank who held a ge-
  neral meeting to review policies in Nablus on Sunday. He said that
  the expulsion of farmers, of their flocks, and the destruction of
  their equipment was taking place "round the clock." Najjib called
  upon the PNA for establish a higher council to counter the Israeli
  moves and initiate a reconstruction program.
