hello all,
ich versuche gerade verzweifelt mit linux (SuSE 5.0) ans netz zu
gehen; deshalb dieses posting auch mit windows :(
mein problem: ich versuche mich zuerst einmal manuell mit minicom
einzuw�hlen, was auch ganz gut klappt (s. transcript of session im
anschlu�)
bevor ich aber noch etwas testen kann, h�ngt der server auf. das
problem mu� an mir liegen, weil es unter windows problemlos
funktioniert. /etc/resolf.conf usw habe ich konfiguriert.
ideays, anyone?

naja ! wieso schaust du dem ding beim PPP-packerln schupfen zu ?
wenn du den string "Header compression will match your system." siehst,
solltest du die leitung ebenfalls in den ppp-mode schalten, d.h. dein
script dazu veranlassen, dass es den pppd execve()ed ....
