I recently upgraded my computer. After changing the mother board and
processor I loaded the IDE drivers and so on and everything was fine. I
then changed hard drives. My new drive is a Seagates 1.6 gigabytes.

Since reinstalling Win95 I have had constant problems. I checked the HD
with Norton Disk Doctor and it is supposed to be OK. It seemed as if the
registry was screwed up. I reinstalled Win95 several times and the same
thing kept happening. I thought maybe it was a memory problem (because myHD
is OK).

My DIMM was sparked. (One of the connectors was burnt out)
I replaced my DIMM, however Windows is still hanging all the time.

Do I need to reinstall Windows again, because it was installed when I still
had the burnt DIMM? Or is it some other problem?

The messages I get are "this application will now close-kernal32 error",
blue screen messages (OE errors), when running Internet Explorer I really
get alot of these messages.

If anyone has some input or ideas it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi.
I highly recommend a reinstall.
You don't have to reformat your HD though, you can run setup within Windows.
It won't take more tha 20 minutes, you should give it a try.

Hope it helps.
