Dear Kitty,

The reason why I asked Martin these questions is because I want to be able
to form an objective opinion on the matter. And before I can do that, I have
to get more information. I need to hear more sides of the story. This is not
to say that I would support Hayder if I heart what he had to say!!!! Far
from it. If he turns out to be the kind of person that it currently looks
like, I will oppose him as much as you do. I just fear that the news we get
her is not necessarily accurate (or complete). It never really is. We get
our information here through newspapers and from news broadcasts on TV. But
I do not always automatically accept that information without having heart
more on the subject. I remember for instance the Gulf war. I was following
the subject from long before war actually broke out. And I started noticing
that as the war came closer, newsreports started to change. It was mainly in
the little things, the things that could easily pass without being noticed
(for example, before that war, Houssein was simply called "President
Houssein" but as the war came closer at some point this started to changed
into "Dictator Houssein"). Now, I don't actually believe in a "Big Brother"
government plot to change public opinion to make them ready to accept an
upcoming war... I only try to point out that you can only form an honest,
unbiased opinion if you have heart BOTH sides of the story.
Now, according to Martin's postings, he is against the FP� as much as we
are, and I therefor do not want to "attack" him on the subject. But since he
is an Austrian resident, he may have a different look on the subject than we
do, and I am simply interested in his opinion on the matter...
