SIG - member request. Application DEADLINE 1st MARCH 1997.

Dear Mr. / Mrs. ,

	Are you a young dynamic  professional who is just working or living 
	in Brussels and also interested in  joining a small Special 
	Investigation Group of 50 members ?  Is this the case, then read on 
	because this initiative might interest you.
	
	In order to join online on the net I would propose first
	offline contacts, this in the form of an application letter 
	you can send  to :

	Your application letter must contain information on your person,
	lanuages you know, your current profession, your interests and your 
	knowledge or ideas concerning the Internet. If your application is 
	denied you will recieve a letter stating the reason for this, then 
	all members can vote on your written response to have you admitted 
	anyway. After this denial that could also be due to the limit of 50
	persons a regular newsletter wil be provided to keep you informed.

	A first meeting will be planned in in March Brussels, from there 
	on all persons that involve themselve have to realise  that the 
	starting point of view is an independent SIG with an independent 
	purpose. So if personal interest of your person or your organisation 
	is your goal, please do not apply for this. I would also suggest you 
	only repond as an individual whatever firm you work for.

	The goal Is to completely investigate  aspects of the working of a 
	complex 	matter called  the Interenet. How it works today and how it 
	will work in the future. Deviding tasks to gain information will then 
	just be a 	way to gather all information fast and accurate.

	The accent is put  what a group can do what an individual can't . 
	If you get your invitation letter to the meeting you will recieve
	some basic democratic rules too.

	Last but not least I can only say my role is just coordinating this
	( I think ) splendid idea and the best thing I can imagine that
	could happen is that we all are gathered on things we do not
	yet completely know, so if you claim to know all of what is to
	be known or you think to be superior then do not apply either.
