On my computer i have NT and 95. My i/o adress from my networkcard in NT is FF40. I recently installed 95 on my computer and it can't detect the Networkcard (NC), because i think it only reads i/o adresses till 0330 or something like it. So i tried to change my i/o adress from my NC, but it failed time after time. My NC is a LAN-32PCIR PCI Ethernet Adapter, with no switches on the card. Can someone please tell me how i can change the adress???

PnP or soft-set, if there are no jumpers whatsoever on the card. Most are that way now. > Can someone please tell me how i can change the adress??? don't know that card. some must be soft-set with a special utility, included with the nic new, also often download-able often from company site if you dno't have the etherdisk for the nic. some are PnP only and can't be set, 3com is like that. Some are both, meaning the soft-set utility will let you set it for PnP or set it to fixed values which you would then set in the OS, Device Manger in win95. Also see if there are any Unknown devices in Device Manager -- sometimes a PnP card goes there, and it will never work until you remove it from Device Manager. But that would at least mean it spoke to the OS in PnP. Also a conflict sometimes 'covers' a PnP device so that it doesn't announce itself until you disable what it is conflicting with. You would have to hack around on that.
