I am setting up a CAD course for people working in industry, (emphasis on
the furniture industry), for people continuing their studies at third level
who already have a certificate in a technical area and who also have some
basic computing skills. While I have experience lecturing in CAD at
different levels I do not have a perspective on what the needs of industry
are.

What would you regard as essential content for a one-year CAD Diploma?
