I need to run a query in SQL 7 that will get some data from the SQL database and some from the Oracle. I know I need the server_name. catalog_name.Schema_name.Object_name in a select statement to do it . How do I find out the Oracle schema name if I don't know it? Also do I have to link the SQL server to it self and use a four part name for the SQL server also? Thanks to anyone who can help. Sue swang@nb.net
