Hello,

We are working with DBase IV tables on Delphi 3.0.
The TableType property of the Table Object ttDBase.
We have a problems with all numerics data types (with or without decimals).
So, when we have fields like these ones :
            Data Type Length Decimal
1 Numeric 6 0
2 Numeric 5 2
Delphi return a FLOAT datatype for both of these fields
Too, when we are copying FieldsDefs property of a table to a new one, all
numeric fields are created like this.
Table From
                               Data Type Length Decimal
1 Field1 Numeric 6 0
2 Field2 Numeric 5 2
Table To
                               Data Type Length Decimal
1 Field1 Numeric 20 4
2 Field2 Numeric 20 4
Does anybody can tell us why Delphido it. Is it something we do not do
correctly or a bug of Delphi. Is it a patch , it it something we can do to
correct theis problem???
Thanks in advance!
