I'm trying to link a small electrical circuit I made to my computer through
the parallel port.
I need to be able to use the 5volt pin, one ground pin, and one of the data
reception pins...
The 5 volt pin would send a continuous current, which would mostly end up in
the ground,
unless a certain part of the circuit is activated at which time I would need
the data reception
pin to know this...
Something like this:
5 volt pin
|
circuit---->if current sent here by circuit, data pin receive
current
|
Ground pin
I have no idea how to do this, or if it is possible, but I would much
appreciate any information on the subject.
Please send all replys to boomer@engsoc.carleton.ca :)
thanks in advance.
