Can anyone tell me the answers to the following questions or, better still,
tell me how I can go about finding the answers myself? Ta.
1. How many machines are currently connected to AARNet; i.e. have addresses
of the form "*.au"?
2. How many machines are currently connected to the entire Internet?
3. How many networks are currently connected together to form the Internet?
I already have approximate answers to all these questions (73,000; 1.3 million;
and 8,000) but I need to be able to defend these figures.
Thanks in advance,
Tim North.
