MHSnet on two key RMIT Computer Centre Machines is currently down. I
do not believe anything can be done about this until at least Thursday
morning, December 8 (the root powers that be are all at the Supercomputing
Conference).

This affects MHSnet traffic going from melbourne to sydney via basser. I
am not sure if any other routes are available to take the traffic. Other
sites affected include: stan.xx.swin.oz.au, monu6.cc.monash.edu.au and,
indirectly, munnari.

I post this as a FYI. I'll do what I can to get things fixed ASAP.
