Well, as you say, it should be the default, but try
archie> set pager
before
archie> prog whatever

It DOES WORK!!!

Archie now does this (or pretty much close to it), much better than having
.oz.au last as it used to be (way back when...). Perhaps you'd like to rewrite
the software? :-)
