Following up to my previous posting which said:

I have now discovered that a driver is available from a Houston Instruments'
(I think it is) bulletin board in the USA.  The file is said to be HIPLOT.ZIP
(not sure about u/l case in that name).  Any chance someone could confirm
this, please - and add some practical details too, if possible :-)
