Merely to better inform the archive searchers, "dungeon" is not, repeat not, (well, probrably not) "dungeons & dragons" - although there are some unusual animals and treasures and puzzles in the caves. Dungeon is a text adventure program, a successor to the several versions of the famous "Adventure" by Crowther and Woods. If you like that kind of thing (I do), you should find dungeon quite challenging. In about 1979, two or three postgraduates at Melbourne Physics combined to solve its puzzles; it took them several weeks to complete. Be prepared for frustrations - I still haven't progressed past the first one-half to two-thirds of the game (after a few years!), so be patient. Geoffrey Tobin
