The AUUG Melbourne Summer 1993 Conference registrations have been mailed
to all local AUUG members. Attached below is an electronic copy of the
information sheet and registration form. Please use it to register if your
hard copy does not show up (or if you are not, perchance, on the mailing
list).
Further details (final programme, etc) will be posted to this forum at
a later date.

Melbourne Conference
Information
The AUUG Summer Conference presents a programme of technically oriented
papers, specifcally aimed at Melbourne's open systems community. A partial
list of topics includes:
o A Case Study in Tracing Real-Time System Events
o Computer Viruses: the Inevitability of Evolution?
o Stockbroking with Open Systems
o How MIME helps tame multimedia email
o Gathering Network Statistics in a Heterogeneous Environment
o Report on the 1993 San Diego USENIX conference
o Object Oriented Programming
The annual general meeting of SESSPOOLE (AUUG's Melbourne chapter) will be
held following the presentation of papers.

Please return your registration details on a copy of the form provided
overleaf. Payment may be made by cheque (payable to AUUG Inc.), or by
credit card (Bankcard, Mastercard or Visa). You must quote your AUUG
membership number to qualify for the members' rate. Students must provide
documentation proving their status (a photocopied student card is sufficient).
Registration entitles you to attend all conference sessions, morning and
afternoon coffee, and a luncheon.
Recipts for payment will be made available at the conference registration
desk, between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. All forms and monies should be returned to:
