HPWriter 8110i problems

Just got one of those new HP CD-writer 8100 series CRROMS. First step is simple: insert the CDROM that has the software
necessary to run the thing. Low and behold when I did that up comes the installation for a Sierra Game: "Sins of the Fathers
v.1.1".

HP service tech says that's nothing new. They have been sending out installation software labeled "HP SureStore" software
disks with their product that is simply a Sierra game.

Have hardware manufacturers sunk so low as to have to send out a Sierra Game until they can develope the proper software to
make their product work? Sounds like will have to go through red tape to get the proper software. Suppose they have their
programmers working over time to come out with something by the time customers get tired of playing the game.

What's more the game they chose was a pretty old one. The setup said that it detected my system was more than a 90Mz Pentium,
that the game was developed some time ago and may not install properly. So I couldn't even install the game. :((

So if you are interesting in paying $500 for a computer game and have something less than a 90Mz Pentium then I can highly
recommend the HP CD-Writer 8110i.
