First posted by "runyan@cup.hp.com (Mark Runyan)".

A while back I posted some information regarding CD prices and how wildly
they vary. I was trying to figure out why some CD's seemed to be so
over priced. Some mail I got back indicated that there may be some
games being played with prices from various vendors. Therefore, I went
out and did some more looking around.

Below, I've provided what I've found. All the information is may change
at any moment, and some of it may be just wrong because my data gathering
technique was somewhat less than comprehensive. If you want to fill in
slots, debate the accuracy of a price, or comment upon my own ignorance,
feel free (I reserve the right to ignore ya, of course :-).

Since all of this information can be found on your own by looking at
the various information sources that I've pointed out, none of this
information is properitary, and you may use it as you will. Of course,
since I'm not standing behind the accuracy of it, you use it at your
own risk, too...

Still, my point is that there are vast differences in CD prices, and
shopping around may be well worth the effort.
