Just a quick word to say that I had no troubles what-so-ever with my CDD2000 apart from this. Internal CDD2000 on SCSI chain with External SCSI drive. Tests said the drive was fast enough to write CDs from. It lied. When trying to cut CDs there seemed to be too much traffic on the SCSI bus (reading the HD, writing the CD) that buffer underruns occurred. Reading from a SLOWER IDE drive and cutting to the SCSI CDD2000 is fine, I guess because of the different buses being used for reading and writing. This is all on a P100, 40Meg RAM under 95 with the adaptec 1535 i think. Mouse Magic wrote: > > Does anyone have a PHILIPS CDD2000 CD-ROM writer/recorder ?
