Hi all,

I've just received my Panasonic CR-583-B 8x CD-ROM 7 hours ago and have
installed it on my PC. For some reason, it doesn't seem to be able to
read/view VideoCD's DAT files. Does anyone know if this CD-ROM supports
it?? Even my old Pioneer DRU-A124X 4x supports it, I had the impression
that all new 8x CD-ROMs would support VideoCD, CD-i, etc.

I'm using MS ActiveMovie and the VideoCD software with Matrox Millennium
(CompPeg or something??) to view my VideoCDs.

Thanks in advance for any info you're able to offer...
