The guys who build the CD-ROM and write the imaging software are called
Space-Time Research. The software is called Supermap, and is very good.
It runs under Windows 3.0 or above, and can export to lots of database
formats, and maps can be sent to the clipboard and things like that. You
can also import data and plot that on the maps.

I'm not sure of prices, but a country will typically be around the A$4000
mark. Schools can buy a more limited version of the software (things like
import removed) for a bit cheaper.

The 1991 Census will be out in a month or so, but they've got the 1981
and 1986 Censuses already. As well, they've got ROMs for:
	- UK 1980, 1990 coming soon (Isle of Wight is available as
	  a demo).
	- New Zealand 1986, 1991 coming soon
	- USA 1980 and I think 1990 (not sure)
	- Hong Kong (not sure what years)
and lots of other places.

As well as Censuses, they've got the Bureau of Meteorology records (since
they began), World Bank data and much more.

You can contact them at:
	Space-Time Research
	688 Burwood Road,
	Hawthorn, Victoria
	Phone: 813-3211
They'll give you prices, and brochures if you ask them nicely.

They've also got an office in Sydney, but I don't know where it is.
Somebody should add this to the FAQ, because I anticipate quite a few people
asking things like this.
