Calling around, trying to get a run of 50, I hit a brick wall. Using
standard pressing technology, it's only cost effective to do 500 for about
$2000. Doesn't include cover.

Doing just a few costs minimum about $150 for first CD and $75 for
2nd and subsequent CDs. This uses recordable CD technology and may
have tracking errors (possibly due to user error, I don't know). The
reason it's so expensive? Well, the recorder reportedly costs about $8-10K
and the blank CDs about $30-40 each. Correct me if I'm wrong, this
is what I've been told (how else?).
